Reliable ride

I had been sitting around waiting for a phone call to find out what time my ride was going to be leaving Auckland so by the time midday rolled around I was getting a bit impatient. I decided to bit the bullet and call one of the car hire places to see if I could get a car at short notice. One of them had one for me but it was nowhere near where I was. I ended up catching a cab to their depot and driving myself back down to Taupo as I was sick of waiting for the unreliable person who was meant to give me a lift.
