No Kindle Cover with The Kindle 2.0 (Or The DX)
December 30th, 2009
When Amazon released their new Kindle 2.0, one of the things that was removed from the list of items supplied in the box was the Kindle cover - it wasn’t seen as important, and many users had complained about the cover supplied with the original Kindle anyway. That was good news for a lot of third party manufacturers who are now able to make a very nice profit by supplying covers for people’s Kindles. Of course, other accessories are also available – reading lights, screen protectors and spare chargers are all very popular choices for users. After all, having spent a good deal of money on a new Kindle, it’s only natural that users will want to both protect it and customise it to some extent.
