Competition within companies

This is an interesting situation. Seems like most of these large companies have to buy innovation as well as grow it. Does anyone remember google video. Copying and bundling is no substitute for innovation. I know how dare there be competition within companies I mean no competition worked perfectly in the early 1900′s right. No product of theres in recent memory has been either revolutionary or apple iphone 3g game changing. When will MS stop trying to reproduce what everyone else beats them to market with. Microsoft already has at least two iPhone applications – iSynth and Seadragon. If you do not already have a username and password for apple iphones, then you will need to register to get started.
