Rocking Puppy
July 31st, 2010
Our daughter received the Rocking Puppy as a gift for her 1st birthday. My wife and I immediately agreed that it’s hideous and so we and left it in the box in the garage for weeks. Then our daughter saw the same thing at a friend’s house and seemed to really enjoy it, so we figured we’d give it a shot. The Rocking Puppy prominently features plastic flashing from the mold – you’ll want to sand it down to make sure it doesn’t scratch your kid or snag finer fabrics. No biggie. Also features a needlessly huge logo. Our living room isn’t the NASCAR pit area, but whatever. Saves us the trouble of explaining to all our jealous friends how and where to buy the product. A word of caution: Assembly instructions call for a hammer and a wood block. No joke. You’re supposed to bang the nose/ears/eyes into place. We found that it was easy enough to press-fit the parts without caveman tools, merely using our hands. Learn more about building toys.
