Preparing for a visit to the British Museum

February 26th, 2010

Over the last few days, my husband and I have been busy working out how we’re going to keep the kids entertained over the Easter holidays. We usually go abroad, but with not much money to spare we’ve been looking at other options this year. London has plenty of free and cheap things to do so immediately jumped into my head as a good place to visit. I’ve always wanted to take the kids to the British Museum, for example. All we need to do now, though, is work out the logistics of getting there and back with three noisy children in tow! We’ll be travelling down from the Midlands, which can be quite a trek for a day trip with kids, but my sister has a central London flat that will be vacant over the holidays, so I’m hoping we might be able to stay there for a night or two.
