He Said He Would Not Pay

I am an interior decorator and have owned my own business for over fifteen years. I have been very successful and have had many wonderful clients that have been more than pleased with my work. About six months ago I was contracted to decorate several rooms in a particular client’s home. We discussed the details and my fees were agreed upon. We both signed the contract and I completed the job. I expected payment within a month of completion but instead of paying me he started complaining about my work and said he would not pay. I was astounded that I was being dealt with like this and I immediately contacted Missouri Contract Law office. After only a few phone calls and a couple of letters I was given the money I was due.
