How those car salesmen are so persuasive. Have you ever wondered why car salesmen are sometimes looked down at like sleazy lemon sellers? Its usually in reference to the used car salesmen but I wanted to know how and why these people always had a negative impact. I started to do some research and came across an article stating that they used conversational hypnosis to persuade their customers into buying a car. Conversational hypnosis is where one person is so good at persuading another with information, facts and charm, that the one being hypnotized doesnt even realize it. This started to make a lot of sense to me and now whenever I talk to and salesmen I keep my wits about me and try to not be persuaded more than I should.
