Medical professionals are becoming reliant on 2D barcode scanners for accuracy and integrity of medical records. A lot of different medical tasks and processes require strict attention to every distinct item of consideration. A failure by medical facilities and medical professionals to be diligent in their records keeping can lead to legal trouble or, worse, life threatening consequences. 2D Barcode scanners are now commonly used to tabulate different medications being given to patients, inventory of medical supplies and patient’s intake and discharge information.
