Universal Life Insurance Quote — Something Insurers Don’t Ever Want You To Discover

December 22nd, 2009

Even though you can make savings and attract the best universal life insurance quote by reducing your coverage, it is not advisable if it puts you at risk. There’s a better way…

During a medical examination, a man told the medical examiner that he smoked a cigar about only once a year to mark special occassions. His presumption was that since he only smoked about just once yearly and made this clear to the medical examiner, this wouldn’t factor negatively on his life insurance rate.

His insurance provider thought otherwise and gave him the same rates as if he were a two-pack-a-day man They gave him a rate that was so high it was roughly twice as high as rates given to non-smokers.

He could have just accepted the rate given to him just like some folks do. He wouldn’t accept that on his part because he reasoned that smoking only once annually didn’t make as bad a risk as folks who smoke two packs everyday

He wrote the insurance company asking that they give him a non-smoker’s rate since he only smoked about once every year To cut a long story short, he finally had his rate reduced by up to fifty percent after weeks of bargaining

There are lots of life insurance providers out there and they’re all competiting for your business For those who have a reasonable case, use this to your advantage. Every insurance carrier would gladly give you cheaper rates if that’ll enable them do business with you but still reflect the risk they bear by insuring you

So do NOT be afraid to bargain if you are really sure that you do have a case And, while you are encouraged to bargain, ensure that you never give details that are NOT true You can render your life insurance policy invalid if your insurer can show that you gave them wrong details about yourself
