Adding Power to your Tennis Serve

March 14th, 2010

Adding sufficient power to your tennis serve may take some time.  Therefore, you can begin by adding pronation to your serves slowly. You can start off by creating slight adjustments to add minor levels of torque to your strikes.  From then on, you can progressively build up to a complete extension and adjustment in your swing. An entire shift of your arm for pronation can add several miles per hour to your tennis serve, including additional movement off the bounce.  Utilize part of your practice to work on arm adjustment and swing independently off your serve.  Because when you have mastered each segment of the technique, it will be easier to apply them in turn. Pronation and movement to your tennis serve can greatly bring in success to your tennis match.
