But for those who find themselves in this age bracket, getting good grades at school will go a long way to help you get better rates. It’s known as the good student discount.
To have this, however, you must maintain at least a “B” grade. It attracts a discount of about 5%. Experience has shown insurers that what makes a student keep getting excellent grades is a level of responsibility which is also carried behind wheels. It’s difficult to meet reckless young drivers who maintain excellent grades.
