One of the hardest times in my entire life was losing my leg to amputation; but today even harder than that is some of the looks I get from other people. With the way people look at me all the time; I have thought that love wasn t for me; although it s the one thing that I have been wanting for so long. My parents’ 50th wedding anniversary is coming up in a few months. We have a big celebration planned and I’ve been seeking the perfect gift. My parents just remodeled their living room and my mother has been at a loss for wall decor. With that in mind, and because raising five kids is an accomplishment that ought to be recognized, I’m going to have silver baby cups engraved with our names for her! My idea is to have one cup per child and to hang them on a nice wooden display that she can hang on the wall. The thing she loves most in life are her children so I think she’s going to love this gift.
