My vacuum, which is quite old but always had the best performance, was not working any more. It no longer picked up dirt like it once had and of course, my husband immediately said to throw it out and go and buy a new one. Being sentimental, I decided to find out if it could be saved and it turns out it could. A friend of mine who does repairs determined that what it needed was an electric vacuum solenoid and it would work as if it was brand new. He replaced it for me and my vacuum is back to its old self.

My brother has really went off the deep end this time! He has plans to build a motorized scooter! I can’t imagine where he got such a hair brained idea! He has never built anything bigger than a bird house and even that wasn’t the best job I have ever seen. What makes this really ridiculous is that my brother has plenty of money. He could easily go buy a motorized scooter if he wants one that bad. For that matter, he could buy ten of them and it still wouldn’t put a dent in his wallet. It’s going to be very interesting to see what his scooter project will look like once he has it finished.

I work as a secretary to a wedding planner. We have so many clients as of the moment, and we are looking for more people to help us cope with the assignments. I just bought bridal crystal earrings for one of our clients. When I brought the earrings to the office, other customers noticed it and asked me to order more earrings for them. It actually made my work a lot easier because I no longer have to show them the different earrings that they can choose from. Yesterday after noon I was driving down the 405 when I saw traffic starting to slow way down. This was not a good thing because I was meeting my son down in Dana Point for an early dinner. My son had recently graduated from the college and was just beginning his first real job in life. I was kind of excited to hear about it. All I know thus far is that he travels quite a bit and his job somehow involves test tubes. Luckily traffic smoothed out after only one mile. The problem appeared to be a car that had driven off the road.
